New Development Post-Publishing

Hey all!

So since posting about Sweet Cinnamon and Honey (SCH henceforth because I love my abbreviations lol) on a different forum, it's gotten significantly more interest, and that has inspired me to keep working on the second book, which is titled "Intoxication". More on that later; potential spoilers for SCH. ;)

SCH has been on a long journey since it was first written in 2014. It's been grueling getting it to its current form and I've lost interest on and off for it. I have to say, since reposting it on Archive of Our Own several months ago, I've gotten a lot more excited about finishing the second book, which I would say is, hmm, maybe a little over halfway written (though maybe more). As with any writer who writes for free (or by donation, and at this point I have to say that I am so, so grateful to everyone who's donated), reviews and comments feed my brain and excite my muse to keep me writing. I appreciate everyone who's left feedback both on AO3 and other forums where it's been posted (i.e. Goodreads, Lulu.com, etc.). If you don't feel comfortable reaching out to me via review or email, I would appreciate a star-rating on Goodreads or elsewhere. <3

Now, for Intoxication, a light summary. THIS IS WHERE SPOILERS FOR SCH MAY APPEAR!

| In Intoxication, Sophie continues her trials with Mikhail. Dynamics change dramatically within the Silas coven and Sophie is a victim to it all. After a particularly dangerous incident in which she almost dies, she starts to change her views on Mikhail slowly and reluctantly, even though she fights the change every step of the way. Their relationship is morphing, for good or for ill; even Sophie herself can't figure it out. Mikhail, too, is changing, and though involuntary in many ways, it will pave the way for something much greater. The Hunter Guilds are still hunting Mikhail... |

Question: I'm thinking about putting up a poll to see if people want a physical copy of SCH and/or Intoxication, would you vote? Would you even CARE?! LOL

Trivia: I didn't realize until very recently that I've been mispronouncing Mikhail this entire time (6 years). I've been saying "Mee-KAY-ell" when it's more like "Meek-haa-EEl". I'm not sure if I'll ever adjust, so maybe I should put off book readings for a while...
